Renowned Swiss auctioneer Simon de Pury, formerly the chairman of Phillips and the European head of Sotheby’s, has been in the business for over 50 years. Now the artistic director of Newlands House Gallery in Sussex, he shares his outlook on the market post-lockdown and explains why he’s a big fan of Instagram.
